I have come to the conclusion that my mouse is dying
The balls cleaned did little good.
Sometimes it just STOPS and I cannot do anything!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This last time it stopped working a window popped up and said the puter could not recognize the device or some such thing........:he

Is it possible that the mouse has a battery that needs replaced? some optical mice do.

(I hate all input devices: they're hard to clean, easy to break, and fluky at best in performance).

What is ILT vaccine? I'd buy the vaccines, but I'm too nervous to give my chicks the vaccines myself. Yes, I know it's not too difficult, and yes I know there are even You Tube videos, but until I have hands on instruction with someone experienced, I'm just a little too freaked out. I depend on the kindness of others who are more knowledgeable than me. I don't hatch enough volume to buy in large quantities which is another reason I appreciate vaccine parties.

We have a new Food Co-op here in Tacoma and I think it's wonderful and am pleased that folks are moving toward more locally grown stuff, but OMGOSH. Today on Facebook here's what they posted:

New and ON SALE! Local pasture eggs from XXX Farm in XXX. Now $5.75/dz (Normally $6.99/dz)

I understand the person providing the eggs needs to make their money too, but I thought that was pretty steep. Doesn't say they're organic eggs or anything. Glad I'm getting my fresh eggs from my backyard. Oh, and I changed the name of the farm and the local town to protect myself and anyone else's feelings, (although I don't think it's anyone here.)

It's crazy how much they want to charge these days.... I live in the city and we are only allowed 7 hens at one time. (Shhh dont tell anyone about the 10 meaties in my shed LOL.... ) But with a family of 5 and me who bakes at least 3 times a week I never have enough eggs.( I just got the white store brand eggs... I will use them in my baking but my kids will no longer eat them. UGH I need more chickens I <3 our fresh eggs.

Infecious laryngotreachitis...see link & book mark it for further need.
At the bottom of this page is a nice chart to deal with symptoms.
This chart does not deal with physical issues (such a egg bound, crop plug, etc)

CL - I hear you on the Tuna; my MIL gives us home-canned AHI TUNA NOT in oil! It's dry packed with a bit of salt and then pressure cooked in it's own juice. Completely wonderful and won't set off any allergies. My brother in law catches it. I'll see if I can find it (in the garage somewhere's)

Well I am making salmon patties for dinner....sounded good.
Then I get to make home made JoJos to go with !
Every french fried tater, steak fry or tater tot in the freezer cases has soybean oil & I can not eat it.
I also cannot find tuna canned with no soybean oil...soybeans are in everything !
Like to find a non dairy ice cream without soy !!!!!!!!!!!
