Welcome. A lot depends on what kind of birds ya want. There are a couple peeps over there close to you. It's just a matter of if they have birds for sale and if what they haveis the flavour you like.

Must be the number of nasty white eggs ya have had to get rid of in January. Or maybe since the first of the year.

ok CR I know your jealious of all the white eggs I get BUT ya don't have to get nasty

Well, Jules is out that way...she is in Outlook and goes by the handle of 'pettec63' and she has birds & ducks !

I guess I will have to go sploring & see if I can slow down my Porche Targa mouse !

Not alot else going on today but cleaning started bird pens (RonB's babies are getting awfully big !)
Also have to gut & clean out the Buckeye coop which is full of older started Buck babies.................
And expecting 4 doz eggs to hatch from Srucon, hopefully before they get too old~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh and trying to decide a "new" recipe for baked chicken tonight...what sounded good was Orange zest & crushed almond crusted ?
What do ya think ??????????

Mine did that at first but my geek DH adjusted something to slow it down. I can ask him for ya if you like or maybe it's something you can google. :)

I drove 1 1/2 hrs to WalMart in Aberdeen & got a mousie with the same USB and it has a light, not a ball...and works great !!!!!!

BUTTT it is hyper sensitive, and the wee movement sends the curser off the page ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~GONE! So, I have to get used to it I guess !

Never know where to post this sort of this sort of thing, but since it will have limited availability opted to post in Washington feed. I recently checked out a DVD from the Snohomish County library on Raising Backyard Chickens. It was presented by Laura Foley of Hidden Meadows Ranch in the Skagit Valley. Found it to be a good overview of things to consider if you want to raise chickens. It was produced at a Green Seminar by the City of Oak Harbor.

Here's the link to the library catalog item: http://catalog.sno-isle.org/polaris...KW&sort=RELEVANCE&limit=TOM=dvd&query=&page=0
