RFF - good news on Audrey

Chickielady - it's kinda hard to say if the chicken came home since I have three that are pretty much identical. And with the back yard being big. . .well. I am getting the right amount of eggs for her being here though. Except when the crows steal them. I just have to collect more often. Luckily the new weapon arrived yesterday - Himself will be dispatching that "MURDER" this weekend HAH!

So what exactly is the secret weapon ???????????

After seeing himself's other inventions & fencing I can hardly waite to know "the secret weapon"

My favorite of course is the cow with the hose up it's nose !!!!!!!!

TC I love when you use the the expression "himself"!! LOL! kind of reminds me of "The Quite Man" they use that a lot on there!! It's cute!!

RW::: The sleepy chick reminds me of DH after he eats dinner & head goes down & he falls asleep & goes into "Surely Mode" due to every time I tell him "it is time for bed" he mumbles "sure"

Maybe a good name for the chick!

I just gave DH a much needed haircut and did the ears, eye brows & stach too...........cut off about 20 # of hair !

Now we get to go to town, and do the bank thing & mail the card to Toni.....later peeps !!!!!!!!!!!

Well,
now for a chick update, my littlest guy.. a AM B some how broke his toe!! so, I got a thin piece of cardboard and a bandaid and taped it, I'm gonna have to put him in a tote by himself, the others are picking on him. And as for the little one I helped hatch and it had some neurologic signs, it didn't come out of it, so we had to say bye bye

Well, it is what it is, and as much as I believe in nature taking it's course, the vet tech in me can't help but want to save it and give it a fighting chance! The other I helped out is up and running and keeping up with the big guys!
Well, everyone have a great day! Gotta make hay while the sun shines!!!! asta!!

The folks waiting for me to answer the phones might think differently


Sleepy is so funny to watch!
They all love the pellets... it retains heat from the lamps and they love to scratch em around and sent em flying. the wood pellets also expand when wet and keep the brooder from stinking.

Gonna try alfalfa pellets once too to see if it does the same thing.... and they can eat the bits with no worries.
