Hi All,
I have 2 English Orp babies that are a week old, 100% English. They are both blues. I have no idea if they are kockerels or pullets or 1 of each. But they need a new home. I have to go out of town and there will be no one to babysit them. I will need local pick up only. I live down By Vancouver Wa. just asking $15 each.

Such cute little chicks - I'm GLAD I don't live closer! I'm trying to cut down.

and do you know WHY there is art work paid for with tax dollars?? because its LAW that a percentage of tax money be spent on public art works. you can look at it negatively, but someone got paid to make the artwork, someone got paid to install the art work and someone gets paid to maintain it and keep it clean. so in the end it was not really a waste. maybe in the sense that the art work itself was probably inflated in price, but it still benefited someone, from the artist to the maintenance person...

The law says 1% (.01) for art. It is a minimal amount. Artists need jobs, health care, homes to live, etc, too.

This law has been on the books for years taking away from the needs of society.

If there EVER was a time this needs to stop it is now.

I can take the same amount of money spent on that so called art and change THOUSANDS of people's lives for the better instead of one artist, the people they buy their materials from, the maintence to clean it, etc.

It is time like no other that common sense needs to come into play here with our tax $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!

Enough of the waste.

Then take the same $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ spent on these projects for job training for jobs that last.

I see all kinds of comments from politicians stating this project or that project will create jobs.
The jobs they speak of last one year maybe three then what?

Stop creating jobs out of thin air and train people for jobs that last.

Oh, here's our current egg spectrum:




The brown one is from the New Hampshire, I'm fairly sure. I don't know about the cream one though. I thought my buff orp was maturing before the Sussex, but the Henderson chart shows brown eggs for Orps and cream for Sussex.

Last week, i told Himself that I was singing to the eggs and one of them started moving. He told me it was probably dying of fright.
