Yeah, I know...lol I say that, but one of my dogs is Border Collie / Heeler mix...ROFL
That's still not an AUSSIE ! ! ! !![]()
I may have to get rid of my chickens. I may be developing something my sister the doctor called bird dung lung. I got better face mask to try when cleaning the coops next week. If it doesn't help, the chickens will have to go.

Oh, I don't need anything like that set up....but it is sweet. I am having a hard time getting DH to allow me to have "freezer" birds. I will do a few...but any set up I will just put together myself. My favorite part of the whole thing was the big de-feather barrel.
Hi everyone. I don't live in Washington State. I live in Indiana. Don't chase me away!!!
My husband may be getting a job in Seattle. And my biggest reason for being afraid of the move isn't leaving my friends behind. It's leaving my rural lifestyle and not being able to keep chickens anymore.
Are there any rural areas within an hour's drive of Seattle? We would love a home with small acreage (we currently only have 1.5 acres), but I'm wondering if we will be able to afford land in Washington. I have never been to the state, but it seems pretty citified around Seattle. This scares me!
Sorry to bother you all. I was not sure where I could post and I'm feeling panicky about possible life changes.
Quote: Thanks!! Takin orders BUT NOBODY else can get the RRF. That is hers just as anybody else. If it is a farm name or the like I will not make it for others and I will honor that for ever.
#1: hallerlake....I am sorry to hear. Take care of yourself.
#2: CR: Help me come up with a "farm name" so that I can have a sign. we have been throwing ideas around...but nothing sticks just yet.
Well, just heard a yell in the kitchen and had to go and inspect....DH was being highly intelligent - I think CL calls her DH Einstein...that would work for mine too. Instead of flipping up the top on the pepper jar...he unscrewed the top off and (literally) dumped a pile of pepper on his dinner. I scraped most of it off and he ate it.... what a goober.
Oh, and after that fiasco...came back into my computer and Bumble had flown onto my dinner plate and was pecking at the last piece of lettuce...but it was covered in balsamic vinegar dressing. I don't think she was impressed.
I need to go to bed I think.
