In the bedroom closet, bound & gagged ?
I only have 4 hens and 2 young pullets outside. I brought them into the bathroom and put them in the shower stall.

So, I didn't read ALL the MI posts- too many. Was it the nasty neighbour who complained about you? And, any idea why she suddenly turned on you since you were good friends? Sounds very odd to me. Course, we have a neighbour who keeps putting out trash can in the middle of our driveway after dark. Strange!

dawng: Never mind a visit! If Ogress and I do a road trip after tax season, we'll kidnap you and take you with us! We'd have a blast!

We'll go visit JB and who else???
If Honeysuckle Hills and I do a road trip after tax season, who wants to be visited?

Me, me, me!!! =)

I could save you a dozen blue and pink eggs if you'd like to drive down to Kirkland. It would take me at least a week to save that many though so let me know right away!

Well, I have my theory. We were best of friends from the time I moved in 12 years ago. I think it might have something to do with her hitting menopause and perhaps her husband living on the other side of the state. I don't know for sure, I'm just guessing.
I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she crossed the line when she called the city.

Me too !!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a rain barrel?

I haven't met too many peep's here on BYC that I wouldn't talk to. It's just plain good fun to have a large group that will put up with me.

I do have several rain barrels. I have the cheap kind. We have a couple of garbage cans under the drain spouts. I wish that I could get some massive size tanks, that could be buried. I would rather use rain water for all my plant watering needs, than the city water that only barely keeps them alive. With 2 cans I run out of water in less than a week. of no rains.

Very good point! I had been having problems with blood spots in my eggs, and I have a layer laying either a shelless or soft egg. Now that we have cleared away the 2 Willow trees that were in the run, I have begun to noticed that the problem seems to have mostly gone away. I had been concerned about the flock getting enough vitamin D given that they spent most of their time in the shade with all the cloudy skies.
