FYI---- If you are a marine life fan............ Monday April 9th at 1:34pm is going to be a REALLY low tide (-2.3)!!! Maybe we will get lucky and have lots of sun too!

Hey guys!

Audrey has slept through the night for 6 nights in a row! I'm hoping for #7 tonight!

We had a nice, low-key Easter. Audrey took a 2.5 hour nap today and I was able to plant almost 20 new trees to replace all of the burned ones...I got my runs raked out for the first time since last MAY! Let the Buff Geese out for the afternoon--they loved it! DH & his parents worked on the fence, adding another strand to the three-strand smooth, twisted wire and created an alley-way for the cattle.

Then we went to the in-law's for Easter dinner. Audrey got a basket full of baby food, a new (CHICKEN) bath towel & chicken puppet/wash-cloth, and a HUGE stuffed bunny from her great-grandma!



Man--she's so close to crawling!

We saw it Friday night...can barely feel little points on it...

I saw the little white egg farmer today. He was busy. He cleaned out Three coops today with one arm

even vacuum them out

He was all sold out of WHITE eggs for Easter

He couldn't figure out why he hadn't got a green egg in over a week

Both green layers had been laying pretty good. Well he saw a small hole under the barn with a green egg laying in front of it. when he looked in the hole SURPRISE

There was Eight GREEN eggs under there

. Neither one of the EE's was broody, they were on the roost every night

He said he was going to take his poor dog out to the lake tonight and sit on the bench and talk about OLD times and watch the Sunset

Hope everyone had a GREAT day today and got to enjoy family and the sun

Ok....obviously the sunshine did the trick for you! Man, bi polar much? Lol, just kidding! Hope you get to enjoy more nice weather and please go easy on the chores so you don't hurt yourself!

Hi everyone !
We have been so busy in the garden & getting chores done around here.
All 3 broodies are getting alone & raising their babies just fine, had them out in the sun yesterday~~~~~~~~~~~So cute !!!

Have to get another load of bread tomorrow & more building supplies to get 2 chicken tractors made for the upcoming bar-be-ques specials to be shipped....................all my hatching lock downs are over for the next 2 weeks..............Jersey Giants (BBS) and Welsummers..OEs, and turkeys and blue Copper Marans......HORDES of baby chicks here.

We stayed home yesterday & I bakes a Beltsville Small White Turkey we had in the freezer, very very yummy !!!!!!!!!!!

Another day of sunshine & I will be out putting tomatoe more starts in the green house~~~~~~~~~~~~

I need to get some recipes for GF things, since my son is home he wants to try it and see if it will make him feel better. So I need to get on it now.

Wow, thank the weather gods.

I think today is the first dry day I've had off in 2 years.

Guess who will be spending the afternoon doing yard work.

YAY... Just got home I was able to get 2 more BLRW chicks and I ended up getting an Americana ( EE) pullet that is very light almost white. I cant wait to see how she turns out. I only planned on getting 1 more chicken and ended up with 3 more LOL... I guess its that chicken math at work.... When I put them in with my singleton she ran up to them and snuggled into to them it was so cute. I will post pictures tonight... Have a great days guys.
