Most of the eggs are from my girls, but a few are blown shells from Chickielady, Justbugged, and Totalcolour.

YAY... Just got home I was able to get 2 more BLRW chicks and I ended up getting an Americana ( EE) pullet that is very light almost white. I cant wait to see how she turns out. I only planned on getting 1 more chicken and ended up with 3 more LOL... I guess its that chicken math at work.... When I put them in with my singleton she ran up to them and snuggled into to them it was so cute. I will post pictures tonight... Have a great days guys.

Glad you were able to get more BLRWs, and your singleton is no longer alone!

Hi, all! I am new to chickens and BYC! I get my first-ever chicks this week. Any folks in the Seattle area waiting on chicks?

This is a great place to learn, and lots of supportive folks to enable help you with your flock!

I think "enable" probably is the right word. I already fell victim to "chicken math"! I was planning on starting with three, and somehow I ended up ordering three RIRs and three EEs.

When I moved them I put them so the pip hole was on top. It should have hatched.

I might be selling my 2 silkies to someone at my church. she wanted one. I am trying to convince her to take the two. she has 2 Lavender orpintons that are a week and half already. And they will be getting there own coop.
