They can be so many different colors! I have one that is tan and gray, and tan and white. The tan and gray one was more chipmunk color and the tan and white was really light in color all the way around.

Those are the ones I have always been able to get my hands on. I have one right now. They are so cute, I just would like to find some unique ones.

Also I just traded one of my Oberhalis bucks for about 12 or so chickens,

well pullets. No I don't need help, chicken math nope not here! Just wait, cause I have not told DH yet..... dun dun DUN!

Yesterday DH's buisness partner brought a dump truck full of wood from a job so we could burn it. They are all 3ft 2x4's, burn it heck no. I'ma gonna build with it.

Oh yeah, I'ma doin da gigg!

I have a baby turkey now!!!! it hatched out early this morning... YEA!!!!!! I finally understand the term pip and zip. I got to see it happen.

Woohoo the little turkey is still wobbly but drinking water. I am pretty excited so far 3 animals have hatched from my bator. I think i'm doing pretty good....

I have a question for those who do alot of incubating.
I got some eggs through the mail. And they have been sitting with the points down for 24 hours.
I am going to my churches woman's retreat this weekend and was wondering if I start incubating them tomorrow morning will they be ok if they don't get turned till I get back? I leave tomorrow and get back about mid afternoon on Sunday.
I do not have an automatic turner.

Drinking water?

From what I understand Turkeys and Chicks will survive on the yolk for up to 48 hrs, UNLESS you let them have feed and or water -- from that point forward you will need to feed and water them.

So -- give em feed and water

Ha Ha Ha! If we had not just lost our chicks to the cat and had a daughter in tears my husband would have killed me for driving 2 hours each way to Wenatchee as well for chicks.. lol!!! Got to watch out for those DH's.. lol FUN for building YAY!!!!!!
