And it all smells wonderful! I especially like the lotion bars and the cranberry fig soap.

DD is on her way to spend the week at Lake Crescent with the other 5th graders at her school. I don't understand why a school in the second most rainiest town in WA chooses to go to camp in the spring in the raniest part of the state. Seems to me it would be smarter to find something on the other side of the mountains. It would be warmer, drier, and closer.

I didn't buy them I got them in the egg swap.

But its a breed I have been thinking of getting. So I was really excited when I got them. But now I have 2 quitters I think And one of the "good ones" is the one with the complete broken air cell. So I am not giving up on any that I think are viable.

I am afraid of putting an egg carton in my incubator in case of fire.
What kind of incubator do you have? I put one in my LG what I do is cut the bottom off from the top of the carton than I cut holes in the area on the bottom were the eggs sit. I dont use the cardboad ones just the styro ones they dont suck up the water and I wash them off so I can use again. Hope this helps.
Some people dont turn the eggs for like 2 weeks or something, Ive never done it that way. Good luck

Oh what fun! Zgoatlady does have some beautiful Marans eggs! My friend's broody Cuckoo Marans just hatched 3 Dorkings and 4 Salmon Faverolles and she is a fierce Mom. You better not even think about getting close to her babies!
Thank you, I do love my girls and the dark eggs I get from them.

My youngest DD just got back from 5th grade camp last week in your neck of the woods at Camp Waskowitz. She had a blast!!!

Quote: Luckily I won't be keeping them all! And I won't have to build a coop until next spring so I can hatch some more. Lol! Jeff was there when I got everything yesterday. And he was fine, I guess.

The boys did great. Won all three games the first day but lost their game the second day, so we were done after that. Stayed for the family fun night and stopped by Jeanine's on the way home yesterday.

Hope everyone is well! I'm like 50 pages behind this time! So hard to keep up here these days with all there is to do outside!!!!

I'm an achy girl after putting in the rest of my veggie garden and helping DH clean up his HUGE weedwacking mess this weekend which entailed me raking a ton of stuff and loading it into the tractor wagon and hauling it off, again and again and again. I have blisters!!! Also took down two old decrepid veggie beds in the backyard and turned them into another blueberry patch. Planted 16 blueberry bushes and have 12 of those new Pink Blueberry bushes on order.

Trying to catch up on housework today as my mom is flying in tomorrow night for a week to watch the girls while DH and I go to Cabo for a quick 4 day anniversary get-away!!!
