Hey fellow Washingtonians!

Glad I finally found you all!

I live up in Snohomish County and just started my flock in February. We currently have 37 chickens between 3 weeks and 14 weeks old. Hoping all are pullets, (still waiting for a few of the young ones to fully feather out), and looking to add a few more to my flock.

I am looking for a breeder close, within an hour drive, or willing to ship to me.

Specifically looking for:
* blue laced red and black laced red wyandotte pullets
* blue, splash copper maran pullets
* blue andalusian pullets
*blue and lavender orpington pullets
*blue cochin pullets
* blue americauna pullets

Do you know of local breeders that work with these specific breeds?

I bought weekend passes, wishing I could clone myself as there are so many interesting workshops; but realistically I think I will only be able to attend a partial day on Saturday. I read somewhere that you can get in for free if you bring an old cell-phone to recycle.

I'm still debating if I'm going to go. I've been studying permaculture for - gosh, probably about 4 years, and really would like to go. I have to decide which takes priority - a fair or working on a chicken coop.

And all this time I was told ya get down off a goose!

The best down, the most insulative & expensive, comes from Eider Ducks...called "Eider down".but all birds have some down, even song birds.
Hard feathered birds (like the Cornish chicken) have less to none, soft feathered (like the Orps) have more.

Who's going to Mother Earth this weekend? I'm going both days, likely with my friend Anna, my DD and her DD as Don just told me he had never planned on attending (but I ordered the tix when he said it would be a nice thing to do as a family!)

I am going to try as hard as I can !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to show a few birds...but once again the PNWP club show is a 3 day event............
