Quote: Yes I want two! Three if possible! I need two for my big coop and run and one for my little coop and run. The first two I really need! :) As I said in a PM I am coming over to Cle Elum the first week in August if we can work out a pick up I can bring some back if someone needs me to and meet them on this side somewhere. Let me know what I can do!

Quote: Au contre, my little miniture wiener (17 lbs mostly muscle) handles chicken bones, small to med beef bones. all raw. His treats are chicken hearts, livers, etc. Jake is just jake with raw meat, poultry and tuna. No salmon, could kill the little guy so says the vet. Salmon has a parasite that is harmless to us but not to dogs. Go figure.

Judges4- I am really sorry about the condition of your eggs. I too hope that you get some to hatch out of what you have left.

Thanks for all the ideas and info about the raw dog food diet! I really have some things to think about before switching my boys to it.

So ever sense I got these chicks I have been trying to figure out what this one particular chick is. I was told I had all pullets, but when I opend the box of them when I got home I knew right away that this one was a little cockerel. But I have not a clue as to what breed. Can anyone here help me identify Tiny Tim? From the age they told me these chicks are all about 14 weeks now, and Tiny Tim is named as such because he is even smaller than a Blue Cochin Bantom chick that I got in the mix at the same time and of same age...... So here he is,

For some reason, in this pic it looks as though he is saying, "Mom, I think they are laughing at me."
He is not standing tall in this one, but you can see the size difference between him and one of my Buff O's Sunny.
Ok so in the forground is Emma, she has two mix chicks that are also a bit on the small side. Just behind her is Tiny Tim, and just to the right of him is one of Emma's 10 week old chicks. Just for another size up.

Any ideas at all? I was trying to find him a new home, but it kept falling through. Now I just love hims so darn much, as long as he is not to loud when he gets to crowin, I will keep hims around.

Quote: You can take it down and open it in front of them, but they won't do anything. They won't insure or honor insurance on shipped eggs. I was told this by the people I have gotten shipped eggs from. One said she does it anyway because she feels like they handle the package with more care that if she doesn't. But it doesn't make any difference if something happens to the package. So Sorry!

ETA- I saw the post that you did take it down to the PO. After reading what you found out, I am glad my boxes were marked live hatching eggs. Have you contacted the seller and told them that in the future to mark boxes this way? I would. Maybe they woiuld send you some more?

He looks JUST like my Serama hen! Of course, she's full grown :)

Well I wish he was a she. But I am pretty sure he is a HE. Am I correct, or do your Serama hens have a large come and waddles also? Would you agree Tiny Tim is a boy?

Do you happen to have a picture of your hen that you could post so I may see?

Tim could be a boy or girl depending on his breed. The Seramas mature fast and this little one looked like this at about 4 or 5 months. Never know until they crow or lay an egg!
