WOW A guy was just arrested in Alaska accused in connection in a local murder twenty some years ago. Strange part is I know that guy! We were friends twenty some years ago! While I had no knowledge of him possibly being involved. I have been interviewed by PI's several times. Seems my ex-wife may have had some knowledge.

This is the second person I know locally who has been accused of a murder.

The other was a young guy that was in my welding class at college. We all had him figured as a nut case! Then ten years later see on thenews he had just killed a woman in Tenino!

that is really creepy I tell ya. And wont even go into your exwife and her maybe having some knowledge

that is just sick and Im glad she's your ex.

Thank you guys for all the very kind words regarding my pictures. Photography is one of my many passions! You should see some of the pics I took in Hawaii last year when we went there to get married.....Oh my gosh I have been married for a year on the 22nd of this month. Wow that went fast.

The last chick finaly hatched early this morning some time. Now all 14 chicks are hatched and healthy.

I have two SLW hens, the first I named Lacey (oh so original). The second, my broody has feathered legs. Also when I was naming her one of my favorite songs was on, "Fancy" by Reba M. So there it was her name is Fancy!

Can't remember who it was that posted a pic of the RIR rooster, but he is very handsome. I have one too, he is about 17wks and just started his sad pathetic crow.


I was wondering (if I can make it) would you guys mind if I stoped by for your meet up in Bothell?

Well, day 1 of chickens being mostly confined to their run and they're all pretty happy actually! Lucy escaped (she's better at it than my cat!!) for a few minutes but decided that the scrambled eggs I brought them inside the run was better than being out, so she came back in. I have shoved quite a few handfuls of grass and weeds into the run as well and they're happy with that. Anyone know if it's a good idea to put cut grass into their run as the bedding? The sand takes too much effort to scoop poop out of daily, I figured if I just keep tossing in cut grass it'll pile up and dry out along with their poop, and maybe once a month I can rake it all out? Talk to me, west siders, about our climate and what you use inside your covered runs! I need the advice...I don't like scooping sand like kitty litter every single day.

Also, I have a ton of extra wild bird seed I was feeding to wild birds 2 years back in a different house. Can I give them some of that as a treat sometimes to get rid of it?

And have I told you guys I'm jealous of your meetup? I think Bothell is too far from me though; Anyone closer want to meet up?? I'd go as far south as Puyallup or Auburn/Fed. Way is alright too, and as far north as Renton; I could go east to Issaquah or Tiger Mountain or even North Bend. Anyone around those parts wanna meet up? I'm in Covington 98042
