Sheesh! As an ex-English teacher, I'm ashamed to have fallen in to that one!
Why "EX"? Didn't you like doing it? We need good English teachers.

My pet peeve in this country is the bad English.

To / too
there / their / they're
course / coarse
then / than

These are ones that I really hate. I think even worse though, is that there are so many people who home-school, yet they cannot speak or write properly themselves. I find myself slipping into bad ways too, now.

Falling off soap-box with foot in mouth!
I am not an "English" major...but I hate it when people say things like Chimley or WaRshington. My mother says both of these. Drives me nuts.
I dunno hon, we in Bawlmore say we "warsh the clothes in the zink". Then we go and werter the lawn hon.

The above is not being a smart *****, it is Baltimoreze at its finest. Everyone calls everyone Hon. There are more smashing of words but I really don't want to go into it. Every region has its colloquialisms. Yeah, I'm a Bawlamoron, my home town and every now and then I miss it.

I like the new photo upload thing but it needs a "I own this photo" choice... cuz I own the photo so it is copyrighted by me.....

Love the fact that you can now up load small/medium/large sizes and it is all clickable to the original sized photo!

How? What do you mean? There is a choice? Are you talking about file size?

Ahhh! That must be why BYC was down for updates earlier. Changes to photo uploads.

Maybe, it is new to me but I've been gone a week-ish

Thanks to the Great Imp!
I got my fence done! (well still have to do the edging on the sides and large gate bracing.. but that's Details ;) )

Oh, I forgot, I broke my laptop screen and it won't let me log in. I also don't know how to hook it up to another monitor or TV. DH isn't home to help and I am computer illiterate!

A good reason to not have the Chicken Person in the family build things in the coop:

DH (a gardener) is tired of Building Stuff, and we've been Building Stuff (or tearing it down) for over a year now. He is Done.

So now, I get to build the nesting boxes. Start preparing the corner. "Oh, hello Flyer, you want to be picked up? Hellohellohello! How's my Flyer? And you too? Here chickie. Aaaaawwww...aren't you the chickieboodie? You want a treat?" Work work. "Stop chasing Cooper you little sh**t! Come back Cooper! CooperDeeDooper! Aaaaawwwww! How's Coop-coop-a-doop? Look here? I'm digging some dirt! Can you find something yummy in that dirt? Here's one more shovel full! Ooooo! Look at that fat worm! That one right there. There you numbskull!" Work. Work.

It's hot and I want a popsicle. More tomorrow.

DH would have been finished by now.

lol I totally believe it... I'd be doing the same thing.

Ok where is a good meeting place for anyone interested in cherries?
