That's so funny! My kids have been playing with my husband's motorcycle helmet while playing on their swing set. They like to put the face mask down to keep the "wind" from blowing in their eyes. They look so goofy in the huge helmet.

I think Drama is actually becoming the leader of the tiny flock. It's so weird because she is such a docile chicken and the other two are feisty. She's getting so big, and Caunnie challenges her all the time, but Drama just straightens up and Caunnie bounces off her chest. Now, when Drama honks, Caunnie falls in line and follows her. I think Rhodie is the bottom bird now. She has become a little bit of a loner.

Based on some recent events I have been advised to "back away" from BYC. I know that I have several very good friends here on BYC. Since I have been here I have met a lot of nice people. I figure that if I was really that bad I would not have the friends I do on here. Those who TRULY know me know that I will stand for what I believe in and I don't give up easy. And so I have made the decision to NOT back away. I will stay right here. I have decided instead to do something that I never wanted to do. I am going to test the "BLOCK MEMBER" button. So in case you post to me or try to comment and I don't acknowledge. You can rest assured it is simply because I don't feel that we are compatible enough to spend my time interacting with you.

This boggles my mind. I've gotten a lot of good info from you and I enjoy you're jokes. I'd like to get to a meetup and meet a bunch of you in person.

It sounds like some insecure bully trying to give themselves an ego boost. I've seen the type quite a bit in the last 16 years. This type of stuff even happened on mailing lists I was part of back in the mid '90s.

I'm beginning to think chickens just get misunderstood. When we first got ours, I really felt uncomfortable with the issues that came up. At one point I even asked my husband if we could rent our house out and rent a house that was in a country setting. We can't sell because the market is so bad.

Now, it seems to be a lot better. A couple of neighbors have asked how the chickens are doing and twice I've had neighbors comment to me that they never hear my birds. I wonder if they thought they were going to be noisy.

Now, it seems to be a lot better. A couple of neighbors have asked how the chickens are doing and twice I've had neighbors comment to me that they never hear my birds. I wonder if they thought they were going to be noisy.

The 2 neighbors who live behind me miss the morning crow. They asked what happened and I had to tell them that the roos went to freezer camp.
The hens do their egg song, so that is almost good enough.
