The vacation week was a success, animal-wise! Didn't lose any pets this time around, woohoo!

That's good to hear! I'm sorry you lost them before. Makin' me nervous... we're going on vacation for 11 days. Fingers crossed we won't have any animal issues... esp. not with Drama!

Speaking of the little fuzzball of drama... in case you are wondering, chicken beaks that have the tip broken off DO grow back.

The little lady has a much smaller under-bite. Her top beak is growing back out, and as she sharpens it, it is beginning to look like a beak should again.

Thanks! They are SO BIG! They double in size every week, it's crazy. I have this one and one regular India Blue left. I'm hesitating on selling this one, because I've never seen a full-grown black shoulder before myself!

100% agreed! Esp. since Caunnie has a bunged up nose now, too. Apparently, birds freak out when 7-year-old boys kick a ball in their direction. I think I want to get everyone completely well before I start them doing a trapeze act.
