If it's in the ground, I would try sticking the hose in, and flooding it out.

Get a can of Carburetor cleaner...has a straw you can attach to spray in tight places...and spray it down the hole.

I tried getting molasses water into her but she fought me. She's gone now. Her breathing became quite labored and she started having fluid come out of her nose. Sounded to me like she was drowning in her own internal fluids. She had to have been poisoned, nothing else makes sense. DH and I culled her half an hour ago. It's been a rough day watching her like that and I'm really sad so I'll come back later.

Anybody Seattle or north thereof that IS coming to the show that can take a Fav cockerel back up there for elizmartin?? It seems a waste of money to ship him to her, if there is someone that could transport...

Oh my gosh I'm so behind on here. I'll try to read back a few pages to see how everyone is doing but if any one needs me PM and I'll get back to you it might take a few days but I will ck.
I'm really busy at work Ive been trying to drive every chance I can so I can get a stock pile of money

to help pay bill for this winter and not have to send any more birds to the auction. My hubby asked the other day if we have any hens I could sell to his friend NO! Oh he said OK and he walked away. Poor guy..
I sure wish school bus had ac in them with the heat we have been having not fun for the kids or me.. Oh well off the feeling sorry for my self.
Life around the house is crazy also hope it stops really soon...

OK, not positive but I think Velvetfog has dibbies on all my OEs that are for sale.
BUT I still have Black Javas, some Cuckoo Marans, 1 pullet Welsummer, 1 cockerel Wellsummer, assorted cockerels, a Black Jersey Giant cockerel or 2...assorted Orloff X Ameraucana pullets....several others also...................

Ok I am going to get back to work...have a painting to finish, and I made fantastic chicken & rice/vegie soup today......

I am thinking of planting some beets & cabbage, maybe broccoli for winter..............IF I have any energy left to wheel barrel compost into the garden.......hard to do.
