Well, I guess the "New Little Man" whom I have not named yet, will get to be over all the French Blue Copper hens, until I can find SOP French Blue Copper eggs (early spring)

I just candled egg "E". Figured the white one would be easier to see. It is developing. Uh Oh. Guess I better start thinking "brooder" just in case. I need to start working on a good story to tell DH, too.

Who knew that refrigerated eggs might develop?

Hard to cook for one...guess I will dig out my slow cooker & just stew the bird.
Maybe add rice & some greens when done ?

No problem! Clean and rinse well, pat dry. You know this already! Bake at 350. Have a nice dinner. Great sandwiches/salad tomorrow. Snack on a leg or wing or both. Take remaining, frame and all and boil down for soup. Works for me every time. You could freeze the soup for later. That's the way the whole bird goes in this house.
