I guess what I meant is that there's no good way to store them on the counter top without knowing which eggs are older than others, I like the skelter so I know to eat the oldest ones on the bottom first

We don't have nest boxes; ours just lay wherever they feel like it along the perimeter of the fence. I don't bother them while they're laying, but if I do happen to come near they hiss like crazy and make all kinds of sounds like they're possessed by a demon or something!

No nest boxes ?
laying in the dirt ?
Poor babies.....it can really bother a hen to get in the 'zone' and lay an egg right out in the open.
They like to be in a snuggly protective situation.
I had one years ago that screamed at me until I lifted the washing machine lid, and in she'd go to lay her egg, everyday...that was her spot and she walked all the way around to the back porch to do the deed, safe & snug.

Now I can do something fun.......or lay about ~~~~~~~
I want to find a GF carrot or Zuchinni cake or bread...so maybe I will go do that....

I also like this one a lot, seems a bit nicer? Don't know if it's the same company but the spiral looks longer.

But that one is still $64.58 total with shipping.

It looks like the same one to me - my guess is it is the "cornflower blue" one. They just photographed it at a different angle. I think people are getting ahold of them from England and listing them on ebay at high prices. I'd wait until the Egg Skelter people get them into the US. The egg skelter people make them in 8 colors.

Hey I'm excited to see you today Renee! Bring your eggs, I wanna compare! I'll bring what we've gotten today so far. I sold all the rest

It will be nice to meet you too Robin!!

I know, I just want the blue one; I've seen all the ugly other colors and like the blue one.

Manna Pro Poultry is the U.S. distributor of them. I can't see the website though - my virus software says their website is not safe.

Maybe I have my security settings to high... don't know. But, Manna Pro Poultry is supposed to carry them in all 8 colors - so you should be able to get your blue.
