It was a thousands years ago...and I was not "making" EEs...didn't do that til this year.
I did "make" OEs back then.....do they lay a Olive Egg ?
If so, they are OEs, if the egg is blue, yes they are pure bred Ams from Cree.

I live in NE Seattle, near Shoreline, LakeForest Park. Am I closer to you in Sammamish or Cucina in South Seattle? .. I don't leave the 'hood much I could potentially want three, so I may be better off going directly to the source unless you have three to spare.
I think it maybe about the same distance. I know it takes me about 45min to an hour to get to Lake Forest Park. But then I stay away from I-5 at all costs! LOL. Looks like I will be picking up my grains around 2pm so I should know by tomorrow how I will be storing them, and how many extras I have. I found the barrels for free on craigslist. They seem to seal very well. I'll let you know how many extra I have as soon as I know.

When I got them from you. You said they would be OE's. Well one lays light olive and the otherisblue or green pending on her Pshyco mood. Yes they are wilder than a peach orchard boar !!!

Then they were crossed from BBS Ams X Cuckoo Marans, so who knows what kinda chickies you'll get, maybe crele or crele-ish...due to Barring from the Cuckoos, and Fudge colors, Fudge is a duck wing, right ?

We're in lockdown - 1 day early. 4 out of 5 of them are rocking on occasion today. I hope I'm not messing this up.

Any suggestions on how to cover the pots to protect the chicks from drowning? I don't have the pot guard piece.



Here's my homemade candler that did a great job of candling the white egg.

To cover the water cups..... what about hardware cloth cut into a circle to fit just inside at the top or to fold over the top so they can't get in!?
