Wasp bite?

Hi BYC friends-
I am a rehabber for ducks and recently found one of my 6 wk old tree ducks dead in the coop- he did not appear injured in any way and don't think that there was a fight among the other 12 in the group. I did see a wasp flying around and was wondering if any of you knew if a wasp sting would kill a duck (or other juvenile aged poultry). Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My opinion is that a single wasp is in more danger from a 6 week old tree duck than the duck is endangered by a wasp.

Not impossible but not probable. I know of dogs that had allergic reactions to stings, ducks? Maybe. Don't rule out other possible causes. I would keep a close eye on the rest for a few days to be on the safe side. Best wishes.
