Wondering if there is any way to reduce how much feed duck waste? They drop so much on the ground. I have their feed in a duck feeder up on a stool to try to reduce waste, but I feel they are wasting a huge amount of feed.

We tried soaking the feed before we set it out (2 units feed to 1 water). It has been so long since we had ducks, I can't remember how well it worked, but it worked really well for our chickens. We use a feed trough, though.

I use the large trays that go under washers to place the ducks feed onto that way any feed is dropped on them and I can scoop it out after they have all gone to bed. Keeps it from being on the ground where it's harder to clean up and draws predators or rats and mice.

I tried Fermenting the feed but my Runners are such slobs they had most of it on the
trays.
