Water Belly, drain it from left lower abdomen facing her vent?

I have pretty much figured out on my own that this is what is ailing my 2 year old ISA brown hen. If I can drain it and give her some quality time here I want to. She is a very sweet bird! I want to make sure I insert the needle correctly. Is the left lower abdomen looking at her rear end the correct location? Please!

@casportpony may want to respond on the best spot to drain. You only want to stick the needle into the abdominal cavity, and not very deep.

Thanks! Looks like she went fairly low and left of her vent. I am trying to get the nerve up to do it!
