water bottles?

Can quail, specifically jumbos, use the small animal water bottles with the ball at the tip? Just trying to gather all my equipment and that's what I use for my other (parrot like) birds.

I don't know, never tried. I use nipple waterers for mine. Of course, I use nipple waterers for my rabbits, too.

I would think they might be able to find a way to drink from them.

I use a rabbit water bottle with the tip you're describing. It works just fine for my 12. I will say it doesn't stay full very long and I had to place a bowl to catch the dribbling!
