Water cup popping out

this is a known problem with these cups but has anyone figured out a solution to keep them from popping out of these tits? Could i superglue them or wold that not allow them to rotate and fill up properly

I came up with a solution, but not sure everyone is capable of doing. You need a steady hand, patience, and helps if you have tools I do have.
If you do have a vise, and a bench drill, and assortment of drill sizes, you are in good position.

I colored in black, where you would need to drill out, and all the way thru both sides. Then view the improvised pix of a nail in blue. (you can use a thin machine screw with a nut on other end) Once you put nail thru the holes, just bend other protruding end 90 degrees. . I indicated with red tip on end of nail in pix. The cup would not snap out of the holder at this setup.
Pix below show what I have in my shop, and what I would use to make nice accurate openings, with ease.
You can do with less , but will need patience, and more time to complete, without damaging cup.

Got all the above Nice hack for sure. I endedup (well finishing it now) took a piece of 3” pvc about 5 ft long and opened up about 1/4 of it. Gona buy a auto waterig float and support it with some 1/2” plywood so it doesnt fall over. Also putting the drain in so i can clean it out. Once i get done i will post pix. I got the idea from this article and it will be damn close to it...i used a chop saw and skilsaw to do all the cutting ... goin ti hardware store today to get a 3” cap and a 3-3/4 reducer.
