For the life of me I cannot find this design for a feeder, I think his name is "justin", where he used old cat litter containers to feed and water his flock. He had them assembled to preform upside down.
My babies are just about ready for their new coop and I would like to introduce these new feeding mechinisms to them. Any help will do! THAnkx

I made a feeder this morning. I had a hard plastic small utility tool box with a handle. I inserted a board inside the center of the tool box that was hollow so that feed would not go onto the ground. I then built a pedestal stand out of the board that the was the center board and a base board out of a scrap board. I then took a #10 can and cut out the bottom. I put a piece of mesh wire over the handle so that it was resting on the lip of the tool box. I then attached the can to the wire. I used a bungee cord to keep it upright until I can run some wooden dowells into the ground of the coop through holes I had drilled in the base. I seems to work pretty good. I can add another can or two if need be.
