I just came across this video on YouTube of this guy using a fish tank filled with water to incubate his reptile eggs. I know they're different, but could chicken/quail eggs be incubated in the same way?

I mean, I've got really accurate aquarium heaters and all that prevent fluctuation, etc so I thought this might be worth a try!

But they would be inside a container just surrounded by a water bath, not actually immersed in the water!

Guess I should have watched the video! My bad!

Interesting idea.... but chicken eggs incubate at 99 not 85. You would be hard pressed to keep the water hot enough for the eggs as most water heaters dont go that high. And eggs need alot of air to breath and would not get enough in a sealed plastic container.
