water for ducks

New to having Muscovy ducks and wondering best way to provide water. Currently using a large pet system, the kind with a big bowl on bottom and reservoir of water on top. Everyday it is a complete mess of shavings. What do others do?

I use 5 gallon buckets and waterers, but I have none in my coop because I don't want water where everyone sleeps.

2 gallon buckets outside only. No water inside because they splash and blow bubbles.

Thank you for your help. Removing the water and food from the coop has completely solved the problems.
