water glassing eggs

hello all
I have unwashed eggs ( still with bloom) that have been in my refrigerator for a few weeks
can they still be water glassed ?

and do the jars need to be sealed ?
Personally I would not water glass eggs that have been in the fridge for a few weeks. They likely have lost some moisture.

It's best to water glass fresh clean eggs. Jars do need a tight fitting lid.
