8x8 chicken house for 18 birds. Full time access to about a 450 foot run. Plan is to capture roof water to rain barrel and then plumb it to 2-3 watering stations. Using Harris Farms watering cups off 3-4 foot sections of PVC.

Should I put one of these in the coop?

We have water available for them, especially in the summer. It's really hot here,

I think I'm going to put a few cups in coop... Even if not necessary. If it turns out to be an unnecessary Mass I will get rid of them. Built a stand for my water tank today and hung a couple run doors. Think I'll go with 55 gal as opposed to this Lil 20 gal guy, though.

all that's left is a roof for the house, plumbing my watering system, building my feeders and putting in a ton of trim boards.
