ok so Can I put one of the girls little water jug in coop with them during the day? The temps have been single digits and with wind chill in the negatives. Until today they would go out and get drinks and food but it’s windy today and I went to warm up water and they didn’t want to come out of the coop so I put it right by the coop door and wow they drank away. I will take it out before I close up for the night.

Ok so I went and put more wood all the way down the run and they seem happy now. Thanks guys! I think the cold has my brain not working to think to do that

I keep the water in the coop. Have forever. It's not like the water fount is on a stove, steaming away. It contributes ZERO, to the humidity level in the coop. Chickens breathing, i.e. living, is the main source of humidity in the coop. Get your ventilation right, and frostbite won't be a concern.
