We have a silki hen who is very weak to the point of having difficulty standing/walking. We have wormed her with Wazine and followed up with liquid goat wormer a few weeks ago. We have isolated her for her protection, as well as the rest of the flock. Recently, she has been drinking an amazing amount of water, (up to a quart a day) and it seems that just about as much is coming out the other end as liquid/watery poop! She is eating alright, but just doesn't seem to be getting any better. Any thoughts?

Is it extremely hot where you live? Are there wet conditions where mold could be a problem? Chickens drink a ton of water when they are thirsty and hot, and watery poops can be common. Of course, she may be sick with something causing diarrhea. Chickens with aspergillosis from mold in the environment tend to drink large quantities of water. I would put some chicken vitamins and probiotics in the water to help perk her up, and see if she will eat some chopped egg, cottage cheese, tuna, or salmon to gain some strength. The cottage cheese has a constipating effect that could help with small amounts.
