Water logged

It's been raining on and off for over a week. My run is water logged. The area that is covered is only slightly dryer. They don't seem to care that they are living in a virtual swamp. Any suggestions on helping to give them a drier area?
I am in SE Alabama and a few weeks ago we had 7 inches of rain. My chicken run was like a swamp. I waited for it to dry and put down top soil in the uncovered area and pine shavings in the covered area. then I put 3 inch thick concrete blocks/pavers in some areas in the uncovered section and they do stand on them. I plan on getting more blocks and grouping them in sections and still leaving some ground dirt as they like to peck for bugs and who knows what.

If you have access to trees or logs, works great too. If you "roll " them every so often, you'll find bugs. Chickens soon figure it out & will wait while you roll the log pieces or stumps.
