if it does not wiggle in the water but does stay up and doesn't sink is it still alive or is it dead!?? PLEASSSEEE help me.

I believe you want to test if your fertile eggs have a living bird inside of it.

The water test is not a good way to see if an egg is "dead", but rather it is a way to see if an egg is alive.

Using the water test to see if an incubating egg is still actively growing:
What you are looking for is if the egg is "moving" or making the water moves.

See how these eggs are moving a little in the water?
