Anyone have an alternative to the water wiggler? I tried a couple of zip locks but that just made a mess.

I dont use one so dont know how much help i'll be, How bout a balloon filled with water ? I know a lot of people use the zip lock bag way.

You could also search (at the top of the page) about water wigglers, I know there have been many post about them !!

Good luck !!

I have never used one. They take up to much room in my incubator. I did try to fashion one out of those colored Easter Eggs you can open and put toys or candy inside. I used a baggie with hair gel and wrapped the probe in that and put it in the egg. It turned out to be more trouble than it was worth and not worth the worry that the gel would leak out.

Well here is the answer I came up with. I took an egg emptied it through a small hole in the fat end. I then filed it with vegetable oil stuck the probe in and glued the hole shut. Since it is supposed to simulate the inside temp of the egg I figure I can't get any more accurate. Or at least that is the plan.
