How ling do you keep the marbles in their water?

I bought quail waterers. No need for marbles even with new chicks. A lot less headache. But when I was using the marbles I took em out when the chicks where 2-3 weeks old.

Usually by 2 to 3 weeks old, they are large enough, agile enough and smart enough not to fall in the water.

Mine sit in the water!!! Lol. I can't believe how big they have gotten in just a weeks period of time!!!
