My pullets are drinking out of my pond waterfall will it hurt them? Some things I've read said it will make them sick I can't cover it up so is it ok? I don't treat the water with anything harmful because my dog also drinks out of it.

Thank you for your help! I haven't a clue what I'm doing.

As long as the water is untreated/safe from a chemical standpoint, there is no reason that it would be unsafe for them to consume. Was there reasoning included in the things you read previously that lead you to believe it would be otherwise?

Wild birds, just didn't make any sense to me when they drink out of puddles and stuff too. My backyard is full of wild birds. I have always feed them and have mulberry trees and the pond with the waterfall they love to bath in.

It is a legitimate concern - but, as you already mentioned, there are plenty of other potential sources of exposure so it isn't something *I* would be particularly concerned about.
