Waterer in Phoenix hooks up to a drip system??

Any suggestion how to make a waterer out of a bucket that i can hook up to my drip system. The drip system drips out as much as I want , so i can set it to fill a 5 gallon bucket. My waterer now always gets green in the summer time out here, i am looking for a new way.

Is your waterer in the sun? The algae need sun to grow. Moving it into the shade will help. Hooking into your drip system shouldn't be difficult. Run a 1/4 hose from one of the drippers and into the water reserviour (5gal bucket) and use with an auto drinking valve. That set up would be great for vacations since you can put the drip system on a timer.
