Waterfall Waterers?

Every now and then you can find those Lowes/Home Depot waterfalls that you can place on your front porch pretty cheap, so i was wondering, would that work well for watering chickens? Maybe throw a little heater in it to help it from freezing over in the winter?

What are your thoughts?

Should work, they'd drink from anything. But I'd worry about them getting the water dirty and clogging the pump.
