We're kind of stalled right now.

Someone needs to take those gorgeous Cayugas!

I would but I've been there & had them. I only have so much room for waterfowl and DH hates their mess.

So after my last pen and the goose pasture is done this summer, I'll be cut off from any more duck pens. However, I don't think calls or bantam ducks count??

So I will be looking for those and of course, more geese to add to the pasture.

My in-laws' own a pond and have a wonderful, irrigated pasture that's fenced and everything. It's probably 2 acres? They have two goats in there now but want some waterfowl on the pond to clean it up. So I told MIL that I'd find her some ducks and geese to go on the pond in exchange for giving me hatching eggs next spring from them (to sell). She agreed...so now I'm looking for something slightly rare, pretty, hardy and that lays well--something I don't have room for here but I can still "have."

another thread to watch at least my ducks are laying great but due to our last storm it torn a nice hole in my pens so everybody is running together
