Waterfowl Pellets for Chickens?

I buy waterfowl pellets for my ducks, and it looked like 50 pounds would last forever feeding to 2 Call ducks, so I tossed a handful to the chickens. They loved them! Is there any problem feeding the pellets to the chickens as a daily treat? They are 18% protein.

I hope not because that's what I feed mine too. Much less waste with the pellets.
