I would name him cinder, it looks like he was a white duck and got into the chimney or fireplace and got himself dusted in black.

Buff Dewlap Toulouse, domestic. Took this a couple summers ago before I had to sell them....they were 4 months old at the time.

This was taken first thing in the morning after I released. The geese are baby buff dewlaps (4 months old) and trhe ducks are runner ducks, all of them are mature. These are all domestic breeds.....
