The young birds did catch on very fast and are using the waterer now. When you get some more gallon ones in, I want to get them.

I am handicapped and I cannot use the waterer that the chickens are using now but I can handle these.

I think you are very nice people to deal with.

I think the neat thing about these waterers is that not only do the chickens drink out of them, but they are sort of a toy for them too--something to entertain them.

Just a hint,, if you cut a small hole in the top of these units, they are easier to fill with a hose or funnel providing there is little or no debris falling from above. Okay, I'm very confused, but interested all at the same time.

What exactly do you get for the $5.85 and when do you expect to have the 1 gal. waterers available? Is it just the water bottle you are out of or the nipple part? Could I just buy the nipple part and use my own bottle?

These units are complete with a 6' Lanyard, mounted nipple, and bottle. We do offer just the nipples alone for the DIY's. They are on our site as "nipples only". All you'll need to add is the water and birds. Thank You for your interest.
