Watering

Someone once told me

that if my chickens aren't drinking enough water to put alittle

hot sauce

in their food and mix it...Should I try...I don't want to hurt them.

Can someone else try first???

As I understand it, chickens don't "taste" spicy things like peppers. You would be better off offering more watering places, and change the water often to encourage them to drink cool water.

You can also use specially formulated electrolytes for chickens...
