We just got our duck a new coop/run and want to waterproof the wood. Does anyone recommend a certain brand that is the best and safe?

Thank you so much for this feedback! Is this okay to put inside the coop as well?I just did this to my new coop and did lots of research as far as the “best” for the price.

This is not meant for painted wood or to paint over. It’s meant for natural wood or stain.
I used it over natural wood, no stain or anything. I did one coat inside and out and it was super easy to work with. I rolled it on but if you have a bigger project I had read lots of things that you can spray it on.
It was dry to the touch in a couple hours and waterproofed in 48 hours. I did the bead test and it passed. We’ve also had several good rainstorms since and it seems to be great. Again, I just did this a couple weeks ago so I can’t give an opinion on longevity. But it does recommend to redo every couple years, I’m gonna redo it every year just so I can make sure my coop lasts.
Hope this helps!
I did, you’ll have to do some research on that. I couldn’t find anything that said I shouldn’t but I also didn’t dig super deep into itThank you so much for this feedback! Is this okay to put inside the coop as well?
