Hello All!

My very first hatch but have already had a problem with one of the eggs. The very first pip of this little guy produced a bloody, watery puddle, lots of chirping, and then silence. What happened?

How long ago did he pip? He/she could just be resting/sleeping after the effort of pipping. Don't panic. Just watch.

Sometimes there isn't much you can do for them. If they are strong enough they will make it.

First pip was about 1 PM. No action since. Is it possible that this was a double-yolker with one gone bad to account for the bloody liquid?
