I always get eggs every day because I have 50 chickens. I have phoenix, dorkings, fyoumis and some mixes. But Anyway, some of the eggs seem to be watery inside to the point I am hestitent of eating there eggs. Some are bloody too. Kind of gross. I dont know why some are watery and am really curious to know. So if anyone knows or has a guess it would help. :)

Do you let your girls free-range? Access to lots of pasture can cause watery egg whites. Are some of your girls older? Older hens can have watery egg whites. If your chicken coop smells strongly of ammonia, that can cause watery egg whites. If you smell ammonia in your coop, you'll want to muck it out more often and lay more bedding down to keep the ammonia out of the air.

Finally, watery egg whites can be caused by diseases: egg drop syndrome or infectious bronchitis, but if your girls seem healthy and happy, it might be the environment.
