One of my 6.5 week old chicks has runny stools. She is eating and drinking okay, and plays in the yard with the others. Should I be worried? I did just move them to their new coop, could it be stress? I started offering hydrahen.

Inwould keep an eye on her. If the droppings stay runny or seem orange or red, or if she acts lethargic, I would, start her on Corid. It may well be stress, or if she is on grass now, it could be a change in the diet. Chick grit is good to have available for foods other than chick feed. Pictures of poops are welcome.

Thank you. I offer them chick grit, the tiny stuff. Do you think I should change to the full sized stuff? I felt her crop, it feels like play dough. Is that how it's supposed to feel? First time chicken mama here.
