Watery poo with layer pellets in it!

Hmm, I'm not the OP but looking at the pictures the only one that I really see that looks like maybe pellets is one that is attributed to a kidney issue. jbs, did you hold off of giving layer pellets until right at point of lay? The extra calcium in layer ration can damage the chicken's kidneys. Not to say that is what it is...

Best wishes,
Ed

All my girls were 5 months old or more when I started giving them layer pellets. I think it might be just one girl with the problem but I'm not sure!

Thanks everyone.

I have 10 hens, all just about a year old. Since day one, the 3 speckled sussex hens have had poop issues. In every other way, they all seem healthy, eat, drink, lay regularly, etc. The ss hens have a tendancy to have VERY liquid poop that often gets squirted more than dropped. Sometimes it is completely water, sometimes, watery with bits of feed, sometimes diarrhea, sometimes just very loose stool and on rare occasions it is normal. The other hens in the flock are Buff Orpingtons and have no problems or "irregularity". I don't know if its something with the Speckled Sussex breed or what, I have treated for cocci in the past and wormed etc, no changes. Its always been a mystery.
