Watery poop- cause for concern?

I have 2 almost 10 weeks old silkies I picked up locally when they were 3 weeks old. They almost always move around together and their diet is nearly identical. One of them always poops big pile of dark drier poop while the 2nd one poops smaller watery poop that is light brown in color which barely holds poop shape. 1st one is a bit more active and alert while 2nd one sits more often pretty much from the beginning. Should I be concerned about the big difference in poop consistency between these two or it is normal for two different chicks to poop so differently just because they are different chicks?

First, check the Silkie who has runny poop. Check for any crop problems. If you can't find any, it could just be different poop. I have a perfectly healthy 11-week chicken, and she poops water, practically. It may just be that chickens type of poop. If you can't find anything wrong, I wouldn't be worried.

Other than the differences in poop quality and the difference in behavior, they appear normal. Perhaps I was worrying too much since we never raised a pair of chicken before. Thanks for quick reply! Now I can worry about other things. :)

Yep. I'm new to chicken keeping too, and it was only recently I asked the exact same question! Lol! I'm glad I could provide you comfort like it was provided to me. Enjoy your endeavors in chickens!
